Oh, Rose! (2022–ongoing)

Oh, Rose! is a sequel to Past Life Regression Painting series, depicting my own experiences through past life regression under hypnosis, guided by a professional hypnotherapist, in an attempt to find new painting subjects. Roses, emblematic of my past life journeys, invariably adorn the pathway to my subconscious, serving as gateways to uncharted realms of existence. In contrast to their presence in the Past Life Regression Painting series, where roses adorn the background of the narratives of my previous lives with figurative forms, they take center stage in the Oh, Rose! series with more liberated forms blossoming in a dreamy and mysterious aura.

오, 장미여! (2022 - 현재 진행 중)

<오, 장미여!>는 <전생 역행 그림>의 후속작이다. <전생 역행 그림>은 그림의 소재를 찾기 위해 전문 최면상담가의 도움으로  전생을 탐험하며 나의 내면에서 발굴해낸 이야기들을 묘사하는 시리즈이다. 장미는 최면에 들어갈 때 내가 전생 역행에 진입하는 길목에 피어있던 꽃으로 나의 전생 여정의 시작을 알리는 게이트와 같다. 이전의 <전생 역행 그림> 에서는 장미가 시각적으로 구체화되어 나의 전생 서사의 조연으로 등장했다면, <오, 장미여!>에서는 신비로운 기운을 머금은 장미 꽃송이들이 주인공이 되어 더욱 자유로운 모습을 띤다.
